Audiovisual Ministry

The Audiovisual Ministry is to help support and enhance spiritual growth by recording and disseminating the preaching and teaching of God’s as it is presented at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 Knoxville, Tennessee 37917. The foundation of our Ministry is to help spread the word through the used of CDs and DVDs for those sick and shut in, the lost or in need of spiritual uplifting. Services can be seen on a local television station and on local radio. (For information about the stations and time please call the church at 865-522-1267.) Also, CDs and DVDs may be obtained from the church for home use.

Theme:
Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might... (Ecclesiastes 9:10 NIV).

Purpose:
To ensure that our sick and shut in members, visitors or the lost receive the Word that is preached each Sunday or whenever New Hope events are recorded and to provide another medium for praise and worship our God even for those who can not be in fellowship with us at church.

Goal and Objective:
To help cultivate the seed that has been sown through the preaching and teaching of God’s word.
To encourage by providing another forum for learning God’s way of life.
To enhance the outreach ministry of our church.

Responsibilities:
Coordinator
The coordinator is responsible for coordinating with other ministries and ensuring that the
audiovisual staff is adequate for each Sunday service and other events.

Ministry members
Ministry members are to ensure that there are adequate supplies ready and available;
that the equipment is working and functioning properly; that the television and
radio stations have ample CDs or DVDs for each week’s broadcast; and serving the
other ministries when audiovisual assistance is needed.

Training Needs
All members are to be trained on the appropriate equipment to ensure each member knows all aspects of running their respective audiovisual equipment.
